Firstly I have to say, that a life without camera is something I really hate. Due to really really heavy load of work I had this school year I wasn't able to take any pictures untill recently. But after thousands of articles and pages, different laws, theories, written and oral exams I'm almost over with my study. My dedication to studying has left a big photo void which is officially over. I still have to clean my camera though. Chip is dirty as hell. But nevermind that, now I have time to take pictures again and I do believe I'll try one huge panorama in near future again (I got addicted to them). I just hope my less than a year old computer will be able to process it.
Last one i tried to make, contained 57 pictures, and it the program I use for stiching the panoramas used and abused 1.9 gigs of RAM. Crashed every time I tried to render the full resolution panorama. But probably it's my fault, trying to over do it. It is a 360 view of the front yard of my apartment building with whole sky (even straight above). Any ideas how to render it?
Secondly, I got a 5d for the weekend and I must say I'm in love. Don't know yet if I'm in love with the body or the lenses I had along. They were old, but so good that I just cannot tell you how beautiful the pictures are (unfortuneately they are mostly playing around and not worthy to be put online, or are just a bit unappropriate). 80-200mm f2.8 by Canon is as sharp as it can get and the picture it draws is amazing. On the other hand 20-35mm f2.8 Canon is also just pure secks.
I hope I'll be able to borrow it again soon. But the owner seems to have been struck by the pictures it makes and probably wont give it away from his hands for the whole summer. Actually I expect when I see him again, he'll be looking through the lens
and now, coffeeee timeeezzzzzz
